The Australian Government is looking for people to work on Raytheons new maintenance jobs program.
The company is looking to hire 20 people from the country for maintenance and repair jobs, the company said.
Raytheon has about 10,000 workers in Australia.
Raytheons Chief Operating Officer, Ian Blyth, said the job seekers would receive a monthly stipend of $1,500 and they would be given a three-month notice period to start their new jobs.
“We’re excited to have such a talented group of people joining us in the country, and we’re really looking forward to meeting them,” Mr Blythes boss said.
RayTheon has been hiring engineers and maintenance workers for the past two years, and Mr Blicher said the new jobs would be the first for workers in the U.S.
The new job listings are being posted on RayTheon’s website.
It’s not clear when or where the new maintenance job postings will take place.
Some of the other jobs available in Australia include construction maintenance, maintenance work for the airline, and security and surveillance systems support for the Australian Federal Police.
