Posted September 21, 2018 08:13:21It may not be that many job search sites, but if you have a knack for finding the best and most sought-after jobs, it’s probably the most popular.
In fact, a recent report from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta found that the number of online job sites that have more than 50,000 visitors a month has increased to over 40,000 sites.
Job search sites like Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder and Monster are all seeing huge growth, and while the number one site on the search engine is still Google, it may be the job search site that’s been driving the most searches.
The report found that Monster, Indeed and Monster had nearly 2.5 million unique visitors each in September 2018.
That’s up from just over 1 million in September 2017.
According to the report, these sites were also responsible for nearly one-third of all job seekers who searched for jobs through their personal websites in September, up from less than 1 percent in 2017.
In total, nearly 80 percent of all search queries by job seekers went through job search platforms in 2018.
And if you’re a job seeker looking to take a leap forward in your career, it doesn’t get much easier than with job search platform Monster.
The site saw a 2.4 percent increase in job seekers searching through its job search services, up almost 5,000 jobs.
Monster also saw a jump in job postings on the platform, up by nearly 5,300 jobs in September.
