Posted October 06, 2018 06:04:00The Mcdonald’s job search engine is still working and looking for jobs, but the search has slowed down considerably in the past few days, after a spate of reports that McDonalds was trying to get rid of its own jobs listings.
According to the latest job search data from job search firm job search platform job search, there were 8,632 listings for positions at McDonalds restaurants in the US, up from 5,097 in the previous week.
However, the job search website also showed that the number of jobs posted for new jobs fell from 3,717 in the week ending October 4 to 2,976 in the latest data.
This means that there are currently fewer openings for McDonalds staff than there were a few weeks ago, and the trend continues to slow.
McDonald’s said in a statement to Business Insider that it was “aware of the report and looking into it”.
“We’re continuing to review the situation and take all appropriate actions to address the concerns of our customers,” the statement continued.
Job search platform JobSearch.com said in the same statement that the job listings “continue to grow and show steady demand for our current positions”.
McDonald the world’s biggest fast food restaurant chain, launched in 1977, and now operates over 1,400 restaurants around the world.
The company has also recently opened two new UK locations, with its flagship outlets in Edinburgh and Belfast, as well as a new store in Sydney.
The new locations have seen the growth of its workforce and the firm has announced plans to add more than 2,000 new jobs by the end of the year.
